On April 29th, Apple released a small but significant update to their MacBook Air line. With this update, the Macbook Airs received a minor boost in processor speed - moving from a 1.3GHz to a 1.4GHz dual-core i5 processor. More significantly, Apple dropped the price of the new MacBook Airs by $100 compared to last year’s models.
Apple release notes list “improvements, bug fixes and security updates” including enhancements to Touch ID fingerprint recognition and fixes for keyboard responsiveness and Bluetooth keyboards used with VoiceOver.
