Today Apple released iOS 7.1.1 as a free over-the-air update.

Apple release notes list “improvements, bug fixes and security updates” including enhancements to Touch ID fingerprint recognition and fixes for keyboard responsiveness and Bluetooth keyboards used with VoiceOver.

This update is available for: iPad 2 or later, iPhone 4 or later, and fifth-gen iPod touch through Software Update in Settings.

To update your device, log on to a wifi network (as update is over 200MB), back up your device (if possible), then open Settings > General > Software Update.
