Apple has officially announced their rumored iPhone event will occur on September 9th at 10am PST. Apple has traditionally done a big product announcement around this time each year, so the announcement comes as no surprise. This year, they’ve used the tagline “Hey Siri, give us a hint” to promote the event. Unsurprisingly, saying “Siri, give us a hint” on your iOS device leads to an array of humorous responses:

With iOS devices, the Notification Center makes it easy to view important information like missed calls/texts, reminders, alerts from apps and much more. In iOS 7 and later, there is a Today section that gives you information about your day at a glance. iOS 8 introduced the ability to customize the Today section with widgets, including ones from third-party developers.
