Fast WiFi
The wireless 802.11n antenna provides blazing fast WiFi for your home, office or apartment. Whether it’s watching Netflix, Facetiming a family member or looking at funny cat memes - having a great WiFi connection makes all the difference in the world.
Airport Express also has simultaneous dual-band capabilities, which means you can use older, 2.4GHz devices (like iPhone 4S or earlier) alongside 5GHz ones (like iPad, Mac, and iPhone 5 and later).
Expand Your Existing Network
Airport Express can be set up to extend your current WiFi network. If the signal is a little too weak in a certain part of the house, you can set it to boost the signal. AirPort Express includes an audio-out jack, allowing you to connect it to speakers or an entire home theater system for playing music wirelessly. It uses the same AirPlay technology as Apple TV to let you stream content from your Mac, iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch - wirelessly. While the other features of Airport Express are also available on Apple’s AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule, this one is exclusive to the Express model.

Safe and Secure
AirPort Express includes a built-in firewall that protects your data from malicious attacks. It also allows you to create a separate “guest network” with a different password. This allows guests to connect to the Internet, but not access your LAN-connected devices or printer.
