Pair
One of the coolest features of the Braven 705 is stereo pairing. If you buy two Braven speakers (either the 705, 770 or LUX), you can easily sync them together via Bluetooth - providing one left-channel speaker and one right channel. This will increase the overall volume and the phone or Bluetooth-enabled device only needs to be paired with one of the two speakers for the system to work.

Setup![]()
Setup for the Braven 705 is incredibly easy and painless. There are four large rubber buttons on the side of the speaker to control its functionality.
- To turn on the speaker, press and hold the power button for three seconds. You should hear a startup chime. To turn off the unit, use the exact same process.
- To pair with a Bluetooth device, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Then, press and hold the play button until you hear a different chime (the “pairing” noise). On your device, select “Braven 705” from the list of devices. If it asks for a passcode, simply type “0000”.
- The volume up/down buttons also serve as “next track” and “previous track” functions if you hold them down. Similarly, the play button will play, pause and answer/end phone calls.
