iPhoto 101 covers the basics of iPhoto. In this episode, you will learn how to organize your photos using Events and Places. iPhoto allows you to organize your photos in a variety of ways. Everytime you connect a device to iPhoto and import photos, it automatically creates an event based on that import. Everytime you take a photo on an iPhone or other smart device, the device stores location data within the photo. The Places category within iPhoto shows you the physical locations on a world map where your photos were taken.
