App Folders

Similar to how folders exist for putting several apps in a folder on iOS, tvOS 9.2 includes the same feature. This will be very useful and allow the home screen of the Apple TV to be organized and personalized to each user.

Bluetooth Keyboard

The fourth generation Apple TV previously was not able to have a Bluetooth keyboard synced to it. In order to enter your Apple ID password, or type anything else, you would need to use the Siri Remote to type, which takes more time selecting each letter than just typing on a keyboard. Bluetooth keyboard support will be included in tvOS 9.2.

Podcast App

With the launch of tvOS 9 and the fourth generation Apple TV, the Podcast app went missing. Apple has now brought it back in tvOS 9.1.1 allowing the ability to listen to Podcasts. To update your fourth generation Apple TV, simply just go to the Settings app.

Along with these great new features that have been included in the beta so far, we can imagine that tvOS 9.2 will also include bug fixes as many updates in general usually do. tvOS will be available to fourth generation Apple TVs later this year as an update. This will be a great update to the Apple TV, and we are excited to see it released to the public in the future.
